Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 5, 2026
Platemark is a single-player card matching game published by Gravel Sonnet. This policy explains what data Platemark and the third-party services it relies on collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. Data stored only on your device
Platemark saves your play history locally: which of the 30 hand-built plates you have cleared, your best time and fewest-flips score per plate, star ratings, which cards you have printed into the drawer, and your Daily Press streak. This save file never leaves your device, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app. You can clear it yourself at any time from Settings → Reset progress (a confirmation tap is required so it can't happen by accident).
When you use the in-game Share button, Platemark renders a results image on your device and hands it to Apple's own system share sheet. That image is not uploaded anywhere by us; where it goes after that is up to the destination you pick in the share sheet.
2. Data collected through advertising and analytics
Platemark shows interstitial ads and uses an attribution/analytics SDK to understand how the app is performing. To do that, the following data types are collected, consistent with the App Privacy details we report to the App Store:
Used to track you across apps and websites
- Device ID (e.g. your advertising identifier)
- Advertising data (ad interactions, impressions, and delivery data)
- Coarse location (approximate, derived from network/IP — not GPS)
- Product interaction (how you use in-app features and ad placements)
- Performance data (launch time, ad load/render performance)
- User ID (an anonymous, per-install identifier, not your name or account)
- Other data (technical signals our ad and analytics partners use for measurement)
Collected, but not used to track you
- Crash data (diagnostic reports if the app crashes)
- Customer support data (only if you email us directly)
- Other diagnostic data (device/OS version, app version, log signals)
- Other usage data (aggregate feature usage for improving the app)
3. Third-party services we use
Platemark integrates two categories of third-party SDK:
- Adjust — mobile attribution and analytics. Adjust's own privacy policy: https://www.adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy/
- AppLovin MAX — an ad mediation platform. MAX may route ad requests to a number of third-party ad networks (for example AppLovin's own network, Meta Audience Network, Google AdMob, InMobi, Moloco, Chartboost, and Bigo Ads), each of which may independently collect data under its own privacy policy when it serves you an ad. AppLovin's privacy policy: https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
We do not sell your data, and we do not run our own advertising or tracking servers — the collection above is performed by these named SDKs on our behalf.
4. App Tracking Transparency
On your first launch, iOS will show the standard "Allow Tracking" system prompt before any of the tracking data listed in Section 2 is collected. If you choose Allow, Platemark and its ad partners may use your device's advertising identifier as described above. If you choose Ask App Not to Track (or decline), we and our partners will not use your advertising identifier for tracking, and the app continues to work normally — ads are simply less personalized. You can change this decision at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.
5. Children's privacy
Platemark does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It contains no chat, social features, or user-generated content, and does not ask for your name, birthdate, or any account details.
6. Your choices
You can clear all locally stored progress from Settings → Reset progress inside the app, or remove all local data at once by uninstalling Platemark. To limit tracking by our ad and analytics partners, use the ATT choice described in Section 4, or your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking controls.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the app's data practices change — for example if we add or remove a third-party SDK. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
